After 17 years with ECM, we partnered with IMA Financial Company in May 2023; IMA employs 2,600 across 23 states and is a major, employee-owned insurance agency with $750 million in revenue.Before partnering with IMA, I co-owned Edwards, Church, and Muse, Inc., and have established the McGuirt Family Foundation for charity in Charlotte.In my multifaceted role, I serve our clients, lead community service through the ECM Foundation (which will merge with the IMA Foundation in 2024), mentor production teams, and oversee our Group Captive and Alternative Risk initiatives.I hold leadership positions as President of Carolina Benefits Partners, LLC, and Managing Director of our Workers Compensation Nurse Case Management operations, reflecting my commitment to both our company and community.

Married to Riley for 38 years, we have two children, Griffin and Evan, and three grandsons, all living within 7 minutes of us in Providence Plantation, Charlotte.Relocated to Charlotte in 1987 with our son, following graduation from Wake Forest University, originally from Roanoke, Virginia.Active members of Elevation Church since 2007 and passionate about outdoor activities including golf, hiking, wing shooting, fishing, and biking.I appreciate traveling for board meetings, golf, and sight-seeing, celebrating Charlotte's growth from a "15-minute town" to a "30-minute city" over 35 years, valuing its community spirit and potential for collaborative achievements.
